The Founder

Anna Belichenko


Anna holds a Master’s degree in Meeting and Event Planning from Universidad Complutense de Madrid — a qualification she earned years before she ever styled a table professionally. Her career since has moved through tourism and hospitality: coordinating international operations for a gourmet food company, and managing regional travel operations across the Valencia area. Event planning was always the training underneath; the rest was experience in how international clients think and communicate.

In December 2020, that training found its outlet. Anna started @belka_tables as a place to design the florals, colour stories and place settings she’d always cared about — the details that make a table feel composed rather than simply filled. The account grew, organically, to more than 6,500 people, and became the natural foundation for something bigger: a full destination wedding studio.

“I founded this project with one clear purpose,” Anna says, “for every celebration to be a true gem — unique, beautiful and moving.” Based in Valencia, she now leads every Belka wedding personally, working with English- and Russian-speaking couples alike, and takes on a deliberately small number of weddings each year so that every couple gets her direct, hands-on attention from the first enquiry to the final toast.

Anna holds a Master’s degree in Meeting and Event Planning from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and leads every Belka wedding personally — from the first consultation to the final toast. She works directly with English- and Russian-speaking couples, and takes on a limited number of weddings each year so that her attention never has to stretch across a dozen dates at once. Every venue relationship, every supplier introduction, every detail on the day traces back to her.

We plan weddings in Valencia and Costa Blanca North only — not all of Spain. That focus means genuine relationships with venues, officiants, and suppliers, built over years, not a generic national network.

Anna and Frédéric take on a deliberately limited number of couples each year, so every wedding gets hands-on planning from the same two people, start to finish.

Belka plans in English and for Russian-speaking couples and families as standard — not as a translated afterthought — for anyone more comfortable being understood in their own language.
